Port Atami is 40 km. from the Bodrum - Milas Airport, 23 km. from Bodrum city center and 3 km. from the nearest town, Gölköy ( Göltürkbükü).

Reaching Port Atami from the Bodrum Airport:
You can choose to have:

- take a taxi from the airport to Port Atami
- use public transport to reach Port Atami .
Transfer from Bodrum airport to Port Atami:
Transfer is arranged with an additional fee on demand.

Duration: 45 min.
Cost : 90 YTL.(about 56 EUR) for a car of 4.
Payment: The fee is to be paid to the travel company(the driver) directly in cash.
Taxi from Bodrum airport to Port Atami :

Important: You'd better have the road map of Port Atami with you to show it to the taxi driver. Many drivers might not know our location as Port Atami is in a secluded bay.

Using Public Transportation:
First travel to Bodrum Central Coach Station by airport shuttle buses provided by Havas Airport Shuttle ,then take the minibus to Göltürkbükü. From there, take a taxi to Port Atami.
- Havas Airport Shuttle :Shuttle services are realized in accordance with each THY/OHY/FLY AIR and ATLAS JET planes arriving to the domestic lines of Bodrum Milas Airport.They leave approximately every 45 minutes for Bodrum.
Duration till Bodrum: 30 min.
Cost: 13,10 YTL. (about 8,2 EUR,at 19.01.2006). You pay the fee in cash as you get on the bus. - Minibus schedule: The minibuses run every 30 min.from Bodrum to Göltürkbükü. During summer, you can find minibuses all day and night, till morning. During winter season,the first minibus to Gölköy is at 08:00 and the last minibus is at 20:00.
Duration: 25 min.from Bodrum to Gölköy.
Cost: 3 YTL.(about 1,6 EUR).As you get on the minibus, tell the driver where you will get off and pay the fee. - Get off at the taxi stop in Gölköy ( just in front of the " Göltürkbükü Belediyesi " -Göltürkbükü Municipality Building-) and take a taxi to Port Atami. Duration: 10 min.
Cost: 8,5 € in 2005 summer. Though it is not far, they charge more money as our road is an unpaved road at the moment.

During winter season, you may not find a direct flight to Bodrum, but to Izmir. Or you might want to do some sightseeing in Ephesus before arriving in Bodrum.
In this case, you can find a flight to Izmir from where you can have transfer by car or arrive in Bodrum by bus.

**The time of the last bus varies depending on the season. In winter, the first bus is at 07:30 and the last bus at 21:30. They leave on the half hours.(like 08:30-09:30 etc.) - Read the section:" Reaching Port Atami from the Central Coach Station of Bodrum " after this.
- Transfer from Izmir airport to Port Atami:

Bus/Coach to Bodrum :
Please check out the bus companies on our links page for detailed info.There are regular buses to Bodrum everyday from Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and many other cities.
The major bus companies in Turkey are Varan , Ulusoy and Boss .They have regular night buses to Bodrum almost everyday from Istanbul and Ankara. They usually depart from Istanbul after 19:00.
Duration: 11 hr.
Cost: about 45 EUR for one way.
If you are coming from Izmir, then Karadeveci Bus Company has buses to Bodrum hourly, from the central coach station of Izmir.
Duration: 3,5-4 hr.
Cost: 9,5 EUR per person.

Taxi from Bodrum to Port Atami:
Or choose to take a direct taxi from Bodrum to Port Atami. It would cost the same rate as the transfer from Bodrum, so it might be easier to use the taxi.
Duration: 30 min.
Cost: about 60 YTL which is 31 EUR and please show the driver the roadmap of Port Atami. Many drivers might not know our location as Port Atami is in a secluded bay.

Driving to Port Atami:
For our guests who are travelling by car, below are two maps. The first map shows the official road map to Bodrum and the peninsula. Follow the second one after you enter the "Göltürkbükü" village.
The best way to reach through Gölköy:
Take the TORBA junction, which is before the Bodrum city.Pass Torba village by and keep driving till you reach Göltürkbükü village. Enter the village and turn right at the first blue hotel signs board on the right. You will also notice the big sign of "Iberhotel" on the corner. Pass the little bridge and afterwards you'll see the sign of Port Atami. After that just follow the signs. The last 1,5 km. of the road leading to Port Atami is an unpaved road at the moment.
